Collagen is the most abundant protein in the dog's body and acts as building material for the entire joint complex such as ligaments, tendons, cartilage and muscles. Collagen also works together with chondroitin to build up articular cartilage.
Trikem's Collagen contains hydrolyzed collagen and chondroitin but also MSM and hyaluronic acid. MSM is involved in cell renewal and helps the body's own production of collagen. Hyaluronic acid gives the synovial fluid its shock-absorbing ability, helps the joint surfaces to slide friction-free and secures the joint's nutritional supply.
